Know the Word 2019

Updated: Dec 30, 2018

I deeply believe that knowing the Word of God for ourselves changes our lives + changes us. It strengthens and equips us spiritually, and it leads us to rely on God and His wisdom as we navigate life. I am so excited to memorize 24 Scriptures in 2019, and I want to invite you to join me! I know we will be stronger spiritually and closer to His heart as we hide His word in ours.

The idea is simple: Memorize 2 Scriptures a month. At the end of 2019, we will have memorized 24 Scriptures! If you'd like to join me:

1. Choose your first Scripture! Choose one specific to what God is speaking to you right now, or scroll down for some ideas. I've included Scriptures that I have memorized that have been powerful in different seasons of my life. You can also click here for a great search tool where you can search for Scriptures by word or topic! A few ideas for memorizing your Scripture:

  • Write it on an index card and put it in your car, on your desk at work, on your bathroom mirror--anywhere and everywhere!

  • Save the Scripture as the screen saver for your phone.

  • Recite it aloud to a friend or family member. I'm a firm believer in the power of speaking God's Word aloud!

2. Comment below with the first Scripture you'll be memorizing in January! (*You will be asked to "Sign Up" and enter your email address to be able to comment.*) This is a great way to take action and have accountability!

3. Click "Subscribe" below to receive email reminders every 2 weeks throughout the year when it's time to memorize a new Scripture! I'll include Scripture ideas + encouragement as well as a link to a new post where you can comment with your next Scripture.

We need each other in this faith walk, and it is so encouraging to pursue God + fall in love with His Word alongside each other! I'd love to have you join me!

xoxo,

Brittany
