A year ago my husband Nathan and I ended up at a rock climbing place on a date, kind of by accident (long story!), but we went with it! When it was my turn to climb, Nathan held the ropes below, and the instructor taught him how to hold the tension and manage the ropes to catch me if I were to fall.
It was a blast.
And for the past year, this picture has stayed in my mind as a picture of God’s goodness + love that give us the courage to climb and risk in obedience and faith. He’s there to catch us.
“Surely Your goodness and love will pursue me all the days of my life.”(Psa. 23:6)...That promise means He’s not going anywhere. Ever.
We don’t have to climb perfectly or have all the strength on our own or muster up enough courage for what seems too big. We just need enough faith in Him and in His goodness and in His promise. 🖤
His goodness and love have got you. Always.
